AAPI Heritage Day

AAPI Heritage Day is a public cultural event highlighting Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) history, culture, and the arts, held on CenterPlace’s new west lawn plaza. The event features AAPI vendors and artists, along with invited local community leaders to raise awareness and showcase AAPI community members and cultures. AAPI Heritage Day also includes an art show, a variety of cultural performances, 50+ vendors, activities for all ages and food by Island Style Food Truck. All ages, restrooms at the plaza, Covid guidelines followed. Spokane Taiko Japanese style drummers perform at 12:30 pm followed by a hands-on drum workshop.
