Museum of North Idaho Open for the Season

Saturday, September 25, 2021, 2:00 PM

Come see the 2021 Featured Exhibit. For over a century, motion pictures have shaped our lives, allowing us to escape into worlds unknown. Whether a romance, comedy, or western adventure, stars on the silver screen have mesmerized us as they brought their characters to life. Hollywood may be the epicenter of the film industry, but for almost as long as movies have been made, producers have been taking their casts and crews off the studio lot and on location, including our very own North Idaho. Immerse yourselves in the cinematic history of our region as you explore the movies that were filmed here and the stars who called our mountains and valleys home. Step onto the red carpet and back in time with a sensory experience through Coeur d'Alene's earliest movie palaces as you tour the Museum of North Idaho's 2021 feature exhibit, Hollywood of the North: North Idaho and the Film Industry. $5 Adult, $1.50 Youth aged 5-12, Children under 4 are FREE. One hour parking available with admission. Hours: Spring Tues-Sat 11a-5p; Summer Daily 11a-5p; Fall Tues-Sat 11a-5p
